A house of making, moving, memory, medicine intone with ma-earth and maternal lineage.
MASAPERĀ is a collective for community, co-creation & conversation.
This space was born from the crossing of worlds. A nomadic trail of souls. Where the desert met the sea, and Adivasi Indigenous roots became the Roma wanderers.
Here we are guided by the weaving of our ancestry and the paving of brighter futures.

MASAPERĀ Collective bloomed from a dynamic and evolving initiative established in 2020. Our roots trace back to the Thar Desert, grounded in the ancestral legacy of the Kalbeliya Sapera—an Adivasi (Indigenous)-Dalit community and nomadic nature of our tribes paths that became the Roma. We carry forward memory through the mother-daughter bond that outreaches to the wider collective kin who share a similar experience of historical marginalisation.
From these roots, our collective branches have grown into their own expressive and empowering vessels: Handmade Artisanal Crafts, Clothing, Jewellery, Traditional Arts, Story-telling, Earth-Based Spirituality, Social Justice and Collective Conversation. Each a pathway of dialogue, remembrance, re-creation and resistance while remaining the same at their core.
Our goal/mission simply put is to create a financial cycle that reinvests into Adivasi, Dalit, broader Indigenous peoples and Roma peoples empowerment. Supporting us is supporting ongoing learning and growth across generations and amplify from the stories from the margins while fostering a community-driven attitude, for a liberated future for all.
